Control panel updates
We have updated the control panel to display your devices in grid format instead of the old table (which was getting a bit cramped) and you now have the option to 'Edit' your device, which includes changing the name and serial number.
We have another update lined up which contains a 'Police Pack' download, a new notifications system and interface updates which make it easier to browse through the collected data.

Version1.1 released
Today we are releasing version 1.1, the second public release to date. It contains a few bug fixes and is packed full of improvements that will allow us to bring you some exciting new features in the very near future.
Please download and install at your earliest convenience. Just run the installer as usual, you don't need to perform any extra steps.
We will be updating your control panel over the coming week, making it easier to use and adding some great new features.

Steve Sande over at TUAW has written a fantastic review of hidden.
"Now a new name has appeared in the field; hidden. The name is apt, since there's no visible sign on the computer that the software has been installed. There's no app in the applications folder, and no preference pane. To use the application, you simply download and install it, then restart your Mac."

hidden is launched!
After lots of hard work and a long beta phase, hidden is ready for the public. We have lots of exciting new features planned for the future so stay tuned for updates - this is just the beginning.
hidden was started over 2 years ago as an internal theft recovery solution for a large company. In 2010 we decided to open hidden to the public, helping Mac owners all over the world protect their computers from thieves.
